Our Vision
We envision a world of equal opportunity where each child has access to quality education, regardless of race, ethnicity, location or socioeconomic status.
Our Mission
Our mission is to strengthen communities by improving access to education in underserved areas of Panama.
Our Approach
To achieve our mission, Few for Change provides scholarships, educational resources, and community support. Our scholarships cover tuition and school-related expenses to high-achieving students in the indigenous Comarca Ngäbe-Buglé region of Panama who would not otherwise be able to continue their studies.
Our Values
We believe that education is a basic human right that can facilitate and sustain transformation for students and their communities. Through improving access to education, we aim to:
Expand horizons by inspiring and motivating individuals;
Build social capital and create a framework for community action and autonomy;
Empower children to become leaders within their communities;
Provide the tools necessary for students to reach their full potential;
Enable communities to break the cycle of poverty.

One of our guiding principles when we started Few for Change in 2009 was a simple but deeply held belief: the majority of every dollar donated should go directly to the communities with which we work. Our goal has always been to strengthen access to education to help break the cycle of poverty in the Ngäbe-Buglé Comarca. Now, nearly two decades later, we want to share with our donors how that commitment has held up over time.
